Day 1: Vancouver - Grizzli Winery - Okanagan Lake - Revelstoke / Salmon Arm

Stop At: Vancouver, Vancouver Canada
The City of Vancouver is what many visitors immediately associate with "Vancouver the destination." Indeed, it is home to the largest population among the Metro Vancouver municipalities, and is located at the heart of the region. Downtown Vancouver is where most of the region's finacial and business activity happens, and the vast majority of the city's hotel rooms are there as well.

Grizzli Winery is in the center of Okanagan, Canada. The Winery is surrounded by several mountains and lakes! And, the sunshine and large temperature differences between the day and night help to create uniquely tasting wines.

Okanagan Lake is a lake where algae and plant growth are limited. The shallow portions at either end of the lake tend to have the most plant growth. This lake is a must-see destination and will be worth the visit.

There are 7 bridges in Marble Canyon that you can hike on it, walking in a zigzag pattern on the deep limestone canyon and the winding creek below. The canyon is the junction of Tocum Creek and Suzaku River. Fossils of Cambrian soft-bodied creatures millions of years ago were found here, which is quite magnificent.

Emerald Lake is surrounded by the President Range that forms a natural amphitheater with towering forested banks. If you look carefully, you might be able to spot some really cool wildlife such as marmots, bald eagle, bears, loons, and the occasional moose!

Stop at the Natural Bridge along the way and admire the Kicking Horse River as it carves a path through ancient rock.
