Description
Stop At: Louvre Museum, 75001 Paris, France
Start with one of the essential landmarks of Paris, the Louvre museum. From the Medieval Louvre fortress and the residence of the French Kings to becoming one of the largest museums in the world, this place has a lot to tell you. With 7.8 million visitors per year, it is the most visited museum on the globe. The filmmakers couldn’t avoid including one of the most iconic sites in their work, so Episode 1 includes a few areas in the gallery with the Mona Lisa and the pyramid atrium.

Pass By: Musee Nissim de Camondo, 63 rue de Monceau, Paris 75008

Duration: 5 minutes
Stop At: Musee d'Orsay, 1 Rue De La Legion d'Honneur, Paris 75007
Marvel at the Beaux Arts building of the former railway station, designed and constructed for the World’s Fair in 1900. It was on the verge of being dismantled due to the railway traffic halt, but it was saved by the idea of transforming a station into a museum. As of now, the Musée d’Orsay possesses one of the largest collections of European paintings and sculpture. The Lupin scenes were shot at the real museum, including the galleries and clock, which reminds us of its past as a railway station.
Duration: 5 minutes
Stop At: Pont des Arts, River Seine, Between Institut de France And Palais du Louvre, Paris
Go on to Pont des Arts, another popular movie location. The bridge leads to the Louvre and was originally famous for its padlocks, put there by lovers to strengthen their ties. In 2015, the city decided to get rid of the padlocks as they posed a threat to the bridge’s structure by weighing more than it could handle. In the show, this was the place where Assanne gave his son Raoul an Arsene Lupin book.

Duration: 5 minutes

Get up close and personal with one of Paris must-sees, the iconic Arc de Triomphe. The majestic structure was under construction from 1806 to 1836 and was built in the Neo-Classical style as ordered by Napoleon Bonaparte to celebrate the victories of the great army. The arch is 49.51 meters high and has a fascinating viewpoint at the top overlooking the city and 12 straight avenues crossing at the Square of Charles-de-Gaulle. At present, 11,000 m2 of the underground boneyard is part of the Carnavalet museum.
