Space Needle

The Space Needle is a major landmark in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It was built for the 1962 World's Fair held in Seattle. The Space Needle is about 184 meters high. It can withstand strong winds of 320 kilometers per hour and earthquakes of magnitude 9.1, and has 25 lightning rods to prevent electric shock. The main facilities of the Space Needle are on its sightseeing floor 159 meters above the ground, such as the Sky City Restaurant and the Observation Deck.
